Terms of use
Last updated 14 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Timeslice LLC for the use of PixelFire, on the web and in the iPhone and iPad app. Using PixelFire means you accept them. They are also the end-user licence agreement for the app.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 to use PixelFire and at least 18, or old enough to enter a contract where you live, to buy anything. If you are using it for an organisation, you are confirming you may bind that organisation.
Your account
You sign in with Google or with Apple; we do not hold a password for you. Keep that sign-in secure, because anything done through it is treated as done by you. One person, one account.
Your daily allowance
PixelFire is metered in generations. One generation is one picture from one AI model, so a run that asks two models for two versions each is four. What your plan allows is a number of them per day, and it starts again every day at midnight UTC.
- There are two kinds. Fast edits run on the quick, inexpensive models. The best models are counted separately and are the smaller number, because they cost us several times as much per picture.
- The day's allowance is not a balance and does not accumulate. Anything you do not use is not carried forward; tomorrow's arrives whether or not you used today's.
- If a run fails and produces no image, it is not counted. You are never charged for something you did not get.
- Extra generations can be bought as a one-off pack. Unlike the daily allowance a pack does not expire and does not reset: it sits underneath, and is only drawn on once the day's allowance is gone.
- Generations and packs are not money, not a currency, not stored value and not transferable, and they have no cash value outside PixelFire.
Subscriptions and billing
Plans are Lite, Plus and Pro, billed weekly, monthly or yearly. A plan is what your daily allowance is read from, every day you hold it. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and interval until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time — see the refunds and cancellation policy, which is part of these terms.
Some plans offer a 7-day free trial, which carries that plan's daily allowance. Unless you cancel before it ends, the trial converts to a paid subscription at the price shown when you signed up.
On the web, payment is taken by Stripe and your subscription is managed through the billing portal on your account screen. In the app, payment is taken by Apple under Apple's own terms and is managed in your App Store settings — we cannot change or refund an Apple purchase. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax we are required to collect. We may change prices, but never mid-period: a change takes effect at your next renewal and we will tell you first.
Your photos stay yours
You keep every right you had in the photos you upload. You give us only the permission we need to run the product: to transmit and process your photo, and to send it to the AI provider you selected, in order to produce the result you asked for. That permission ends when the request does. We claim no ownership, we do not use your photos to promote PixelFire, and we do not train anything on them.
You are confirming that you have the right to upload what you upload — that it is your photo, or that you have permission from whoever holds the rights and from any identifiable person in it.
What you may not do
You may not use PixelFire to make or attempt to make:
- sexual imagery of minors, or any sexual imagery of a real person without their consent;
- imagery designed to deceive people about what a real, identifiable person said or did;
- content that harasses, defames, or incites violence against someone;
- forged identity documents, currency, or anything else intended to defraud;
- material that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark.
You also may not resell PixelFire's output as your own AI service, scrape or automate the product outside its interface, work around the daily allowance or the sign-in, or attempt to reach another person's account. We will suspend or close an account for any of this, and report what the law requires us to report.
What the AI produces
Generative models are probabilistic. Two people giving the same instruction can receive similar results, and neither we nor you can claim exclusivity over what comes back. Output may contain errors, artefacts or content you did not intend, and it is not advice of any kind. You decide whether a result is fit for what you plan to do with it, and you are responsible for what you then do with it. As between you and us, whatever rights exist in the output are yours.
Availability
We aim to keep PixelFire running but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted. Models are third-party services and can slow down, change behaviour or disappear; when one does, a run that failed is not counted against your day. We may change the model line-up, and we will keep the pricing page honest about what is in each plan.
Ending it
You can stop at any time: cancel the subscription, or delete the account from your account screen. Deleting is immediate and permanent, and any pack you have bought goes with it. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and where it is fair to do so we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right.
Disclaimers and liability
PixelFire is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
To the fullest extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data, and our total liability arising out of PixelFire is limited to the greater of one hundred US dollars or what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
You agree to cover us against claims arising from content you uploaded, or from your use of PixelFire in breach of these terms.
Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of King County, Washington have exclusive jurisdiction — except that either of us may seek an injunction anywhere. Before filing anything, write to support@pixelfire.ai and give us 30 days to sort it out. Most things are a misunderstanding about what a plan includes, and most of those are settled in one message.
If you got the app from Apple
Apple requires us to say, and we agree, that:
- this agreement is between you and Timeslice LLC only, and not with Apple;
- Apple is not responsible for PixelFire or its content;
- we, not Apple, are solely responsible for support and maintenance. Apple has no obligation to provide either. Support is at support@pixelfire.ai;
- if the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may tell Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app; to the maximum extent permitted by law Apple has no other warranty obligation, and any other claims or costs are our responsibility;
- we, not Apple, are responsible for any claim that the app or your use of it fails to meet a legal requirement, or arises under product liability or consumer protection law;
- we, not Apple, are responsible for investigating and defending any claim that the app infringes someone's intellectual property;
- you confirm you are not in a country subject to a US embargo or designated as supporting terrorism, and are not on any US list of prohibited or restricted parties;
- you must comply with any applicable third-party terms when using the app;
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it against you.
Your licence to the app is a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use it on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store's Usage Rules.
The rest
If a clause is unenforceable, the remainder still stands. Not enforcing something straight away does not waive it. You may not transfer these terms; we may, to a successor of the business. These terms, together with the privacy policy and the refunds and cancellation policy, are the whole agreement between us.
If we change them materially we will post the new version here with a new date, and tell account holders by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use PixelFire after that means you accept the change; if you do not, cancel and delete the account.
